Scientific publication – HiTech 2018 In 2018, within the framework of the International Conference on High Technology for Sustainable Development (HiTech 2018), a joint scientific publication was presented, developed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatima Sapundzhi and Krasimir Yordanov. The publication addresses a topic related to the monitoring and control of the MHT network in the city of Petrich, presenting developed solutions for monitoring, management and analysis of the network infrastructure. The main emphasis is placed on the use of modern technologies to increase the reliability, efficiency and quality of the provided network services. The presented results demonstrate the possibilities for integrating monitoring systems, automated management and diagnostics of network equipment, which contributes to a faster response to problems and more effective operation of the communication infrastructure. Participation in HiTech 2018 represents a contribution to scientific and applied research in the field of information and communication technologies and demonstrates the successful cooperation between the authors in the development of practically applicable engineering solutions. Scientific value In my opinion, the article has good applied value. It combines: computer network theory; algorithms; real implemented system; practical results. This is not just a description of "how to install DUDe", but examines the principles of routing and network monitoring.
